Shoreside Podiatry provides assessment and treatment for a wide range of foot and lower-limb concerns in both adults and children, from routine foot care to more complex musculoskeletal and high-risk foot needs.
Routine Foot CareNail care, corns, callus and common skin and nail concerns.
Treatment tailored to help keep your feet comfortable and healthy.
Foot & Lower-Limb PainAssessment and treatment of foot and lower-limb pain for all ages, including growing feet, biomechanics, gait and footwear concerns.
Orthotic assessment and therapy are also available where appropriate.
Diabetes & High-Risk Foot CareDiabetic foot assessments and ongoing podiatry care for people with diabetes or other high-risk foot needs. Focused on prevention, early identification of problems and keeping feet healthy.Funded diabetic foot care
Eligible high-risk patients with diabetes may receive up to four funded podiatry appointments per year. A referral from your GP is required to access funded appointments.
Rest homes & residential care
We currently have availability for regular or one-off podiatry visits to local care facilities. Please get in touch to discuss your facility’s needs.

For new patients or a new foot concern requiring a full assessment.Routine Appointment — $85

Meet your Podiatrist
Shoreside Podiatry is run by Aoife O'Dowd, an experienced podiatrist with over 10 years of clinical experience across New Zealand and Ireland.Aoife has worked across both public and private healthcare, with experience in general podiatry, diabetic and high-risk foot care, musculoskeletal assessment and orthotic therapy.Her approach is friendly, practical and individualised, with a focus on helping people feel comfortable and confident in their care.
